Iztaccihuatl The 100 Hut

We will leave México City in the direction of the natural park Izta-Popo and leave the cars at the foot of the Sleeping Woman. There we will get ready for our climb during which we will discover the beautiful countryside that surrounds this emblematic mountain.

We will arrive at the first pass to open up the other side of the mountain to us, giving us magnificent views of the volcano Popocatepetl. We will continue climbing, including a scree slope to arrive at the third pass, passing again to the other side of the mountain where we will be able to see the city of Puebla and the impressive Pico de Orizaba, the highest point in Mexico. We will continue on the last climb to be able to reach our destination, the 100 hut at 4720 metres above sea level.
